BAZNAS Award 2023

PT Reasuransi Nasional Indonesia (Nasional Re) received an award from the Indonesia's National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) at the BAZNAS Award 2023 for the category "Perusahaan Pembayar Zakat Badan Teladan BAZNAS RI" on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. This award received by Nasional Re as a form of appreciation from BAZNAS for the performance of Zakat management organizations that support and encourage revival of Zakat management in Indonesia. 

 

The event was held at Puri Agung Room, Sahid Hotel, Jakarta, and began with a speech from Mr. Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad, M.A. (Chairman of BAZNAS RI), who expressed his gratitude to muzakis throughout Indonesia who have jointly overseen the zakat movement in Indonesia. Then followed by a speech from Mr. Prof. Dr. K.H. Ma'ruf Amin (Vice President Republic of Indonesia), who advised BAZNAS to be able to collaborate and synergize with each component of zakat ecosystem and other stakeholders to strengthen national Zakat management.

During the event, BAZNAS also assisted earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria and received an award from the Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) for the category of Al-Qur'an written by 1,000 (one thousand) Amil using the "follow the line" method. 

 

Mrs. Shanti Narolita (Head of Sharia Division) also attended the event. She received the award on behalf of Nasional Re, which was presented by Mr. Nur Chamdani (Head of HR, Finance, and General Affairs) BAZNAS. Through this award, Nasional Re is committing to continue to support and encourage the revival of Zakat in Indonesia, which aims to prosper the people.
